Infrastructure Project Manager


Job Description

Our Vancouver based enterprise client has several contract opportunities available for experienced IT Infrastructure Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities

Manage concurrent infrastructure projects pertaining to a variety of areas including; data storage, virtualization, server and database services, LAN/WAN and wireless implementations
Ensure overall network/data infrastructure is constructed and tested according to organizational technical standards
Lead technical planning and implementation team(s)
Provide project technical leadership, working closely with technical teams to monitor and ensure the project accomplishes all organizational goals and deliverables on time and to budget.
Review and approve project IT Infrastructure deliverables and artifacts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Develop and distribute regular project reporting for IT Infrastructure deliverables.

Skill Set Responsibilities

Bachelor or Master's Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science or a combination of experience and education
8-10 years project management experience with experience managing IT infrastructure implementations.
Training and experience in best practice project management techniques and processes.
Experience developing and implementing projects and business process initiatives designed to improve efficiencies.
PMP certification is highly desirable
