Activities Abound for Brownfield Coalition of the Northeast (BCONE)

The Brownfield Coalition of the Northeast has several events planned for the near future, including:

Presenting a workshop with the LSRPA entitled, "Let's Build A Clean Land Coalition," at the October 13 ANJEC Environmental Congress, which is entitled Leading with Local Action: Engage, Protect, Restore.

BCONE has negotiated discounted registration pricing for members to attend the November, 2017 RE3 conference in Philadelphia, PA. RE3 has an entire track dedicated to redevelopment; BCONE Board members will be presenting.

BCONE Board members are included as speakers at the USEPA Brownfields 2017 Conference this December in Pittsburgh and BCONE is sponsoring the Community Reception. It is also putting the finishing touches on the Lehigh Valley Arts on Brownfields tour, being scheduled for the Spring of 2018.

The coalition has scheduled “The Evolving Environmental Insurance Market: Mitigating Risk and Opportunities for Brownfields Development,” slated for October 17, 2017—a late afternoon seminar to be held in Bridgewater, NJ, followed by a networking reception. More details to follow in the near future.

Of course, the board members of BCONE are busy on your behalf, sending letters to Congress on our own and as part of a larger coalition of brownfield groups to support of funding the USEPA Brownfields Program.
